To get an tropius you have to migrate from sapphire or ruby version to obtain tropius in diamond/pearl version. I hoped this solved your question.

You could try looking for it, using the Pokeradar, if that doesn't work, then migrate a tropius to Diamond/pearl from Emerald, Ruby, or Sapphire.

You can only migrate Tropius from Ruby, Sapphire, or Emerald into Diamond or Pearl. Cheating to get Tropius is a last resort if you don't have either of those games.

Sorry but you will have to migrate it from ruby/saphire.You can only do that if you have the national dex. To get tat you will have to see(you don't have to catch) every pokemon...

I heard it is possible to get him from gaining a leaf stone and fisting at the pond in twinleaf... dont asky me how but its been buzzing around. hope it helps

anyway, i read on a site that it is available in the great marsh in area 1 or 2. im not sure if u need to have the national dex first though...
