Pokerus is a bad thing..i don't no exactly what it does but it's usually on legendary pokemon.

Pokerus is a beneficial thing, it doubles the effort points for the Pokemon it effects. No it doesn't usually effect just legendaries, normal Pokemon and legendary Pokemon alike have the same chance of getting this.

Trust me, it's a good thing. Make the most of it.

Pokerus rocks! Let all your Pokemon catch it by putting them in your party with deoxys... It's the Pokemon virus, and it is said that it can be caught by using the same Pokemon for all your battles... But it can be caught from wild Pokemon who have it that you catch and put in your party... It doesn't stay long... But it makes your Pokemon very strong while they have it, and once you have it, you can keep transferring it to Pokemon by letting them spend time with your Pokemon that have it. Go to a pokecenter and nurse joy will tell you about it. Any Pokemon can catch it, not just legendaries.

Pokerus is good. It raises the stats even higher during a level up. The disease leaves the Pokemon after 2 weeks of being in your party but the effect lasts forever.

Actually, Pokerus is a good thing. It doubles the experience points gained when battling a Pokemon. Also Pokerus is a Rare Virus. To know if you do got Pokerus go to Nurse Joy and if she say something different then she normally says, then one of your Pokemon got Pokerus. To get pokerus battle a Wild Pokemon, but rarely you get Pokerus. The probability of getting Pokerus is the same probability as getting a Shiny Pokemon.

It's a very, very, very rare and extremely good thing, it raises the EXP it gains and since it's a status effect it might stop poison paralysis etc.

I created an account justto answer this question, pokerus is good, nogreat, it promotes growth in Pokemon by doubling gained ev values, in other words, your stats go up more from battling.

Oh and the reason legendaries seem to have it alot, to things cheaters love: legendaries and pokerus, so it's natural they combine them!

It makes the Pokemon progress quicker in stats but is not really that bad...a bunch of my Pokemon have it.

Pokerus is a very good, as you might have already noticed.

When a Pokemon has it, their IV's (which are the amount of EV's gained) will double when you level them up by battling. Using rare candies while they have Pokerus won't affect them at all; so, to take advantage of Pokerus, you should battle strong trainers.

All in all, their stats grow faster by a bigger amount. While they normally increase by two or three points, and the occasion four, they will grow up by at least four points; five, six, and even seven points.

Pokerus is cool it promotes growth and you get more stats wen you lvl up so if you get it spread it to other Pokemon by having them min your pc box or party. Pokerus usually goes away in about 24-48 hours so spread it and keep an infected Pokemon in your box to have it permanant

Pokerus rocks when you level up your Pokemon it's stats go up way higher than usual!! And you can spread it by putting Pokemon with it in the same party the effect lasts for two weeks but if you want to kepp it then you should put it into a PC bix. If you doint it will dissapear

It is incredibly rare and beneficial to your pokeomon it double EVs and it spreads to vall the Pokemon in your party so if you happen to get it like me put one in your box to spread it to other pokeomon because it geets cued fast

Pokerus isn't bad it's actually good because your pokemon's stats increase much quicker, making it stronger and more effective in battle. The pokerus will go in a few days. If you want to let keep the virus keep it in your pc. Also you can spread it to your other Pokemon by putting it your party and the other Pokemon get pokerus and that also does the same effect. So spread to get your Pokemon stronger. I am glad to help you out.

Pokerus goes away, but it shows a star. I caught a shiny metapod and I guess it probably had pokerus, my growlithe and typlosion had pokerus, plus the macho brace. It really helps you ev and Pokemon training.
