Question for Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story

How do you defeat the Wisdurm Sage for the 1st Star Cure? Also, I have gotten the metre up to the pink end and the Sage turned pink but which do I hit? Magic Wand or Wisdurm? Please help! MaPoLe3591
