The Ship/ Cliff by the Waterfall

Does anyone have any idea on what the ship is for?And does anyone know what you can do on the cliff that is located by the waterfall,you can only get there when you are w/ james. Thanks for any help

The ship has copper wire in the second room, but it doesn't appear until you need it.

If you are talking about the waterfall by the first cave, then that is just a shortcut so you don't have to go around and up a lot of ledges.

Both of these are right but you don't have to go with James, depending on who you are, just go with anyone :D
