How do I get diffindo charm stuck in 6 part2?

Cant cut stairs in 6 year part 2 without diffindo charm? Can't go ant farther with out it? Please help.

You can cut without diffindo if DS, I don't know about other systems, you should be able to use any spell and if you follow ghost arrows on certain systems you will be fine. In Wii a teacher teaches you, in DS you don't learn it. Use arrows/ nunchuck to cut in direction, or review game guide to see how to cut. If still stuck ask friends, or go to another site.
