Question for Eragon

Ok well I completed the game, really quickly because it was so easy lol... But I only have 5 spells and I heard there were like 7 or something. I think there'll be something in the other dragon tower, which is where I am now, but I just can't get past this puzzle. You have to move blocks onto these pad sorta things, but when I do it the door doesnt open

Please help

To get past the block/pad challenge in the second dragon tower, you need to put all of the blocks on all of the pads and then stand on the pad that is left. This should open the door.
