Kanto and Hoenn Starters hints and tips for Pokemon Soul Silver

Kanto and Hoenn Starters

Not only do you get to choose from Jhoto starters at the beginning of the game, but after a while, you get to choose one of the Kanto starters and one of the Hoenn starters.

Kanto: Once you have all 16 badges from both Kanto AND Jhoto, as well as have defeated Red, visit professor oak in Pallet town and he will give you a choice to take Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle.

Hoenn: Same as above, once you have all the badges and defeat Red, fly to Saffron city in Kanto and go to the Silph Co. Building. Go to the right of the first floor to the information desk and Steven will be standing there. Talk to him and he will give you a choice to obtain Treeko, Torchic, and Mudkip.
