When you've got the code activated on your action replay hit the R&L buttons to place 467 heart scales into your bag. (Items pocket.) Then select the number of heart scales you want to discard. Discard your desired amount and once tossed out hit the L button. After pressing the L button go to your TMs & HMs pocket and check TM 17. Depending on what number you tossed out, you will receive another TM in Protect's place. Oh, and if you don't discard any heart scales Shadow Force will be in Protect's place. Just repeat the step to gain other PP moves for your Pokemon.

Example:

HS = 467

467 - 8 = 459.

Hit the L button after tossing them out.
