If your partner isnt fighting it might be because his best move has no pp and is trying to use it in that case take off that move or he is just not angled right and if that is the case then try and angle him and if he has no more pp than take off his move from the moves menu or use a max elixer if you have one and if you don't have a max elixer take all his moves off and give him throw items and thats pretty much all I have to offer for this hint.
