Pimpblue is wrong again because if you train hard your starter will be very good eevee can be very good you can evolve into good pokemon.A hint is if you have a partner then go to the start screen and go to uknown dungeon and follow the directions and you will get good items sometimes the item will be a joy seed so use it to build up your pokemons levels and strength so you can beat bosses and improve your starters srength. PEACE OUT!!!!!
