All of you are wondering, "How can I boost up and get more friends to recruit?". There is an item in this game thats extremely rare, called the Friend Bow. It boosts up the chances of gaining new friends!

How to obtain:

You will need access to Mt. Faraway (Where Ho-Oh lives.), which can be unlocked after you beat the game. From there go to the 30th Floor (You also need a key). From there, search the dungeon until you see a corridor thats blocked up and has a key symbol on it. Go to your inventory, and select the key. Select "Use" and the coridor will open, obtaining the almighty Friend Bow! Remember to wear it to recrute Ho-Oh!

How to gain access to Mt. Faraway:

To gain access you need to beat Entei, Raioku, and Suicune, so they can enchant a Clear Feather you gain from a Spinda that drifts into town. The Spinda will faint, and he'll wake up in your home. He will babble on about the "Mirage Pokemon" and say that he now gives up hope for ever finding it. This is where you come in. Spinda will give you the feather, and head to the Great Canyon, where Xatu lives, so he can give you information on it. He will say that is does belong to a Mirage Pokemon, but he can't quite see it. When he sends you back, you should have access to the Fiery Field. From there, keep battleing until they enchant the feather. *Note: That each of the three dungeons have 30 floors, with powerful Pokemon, so be prepared.*

How to trigger the event:

It all starts out with the Solar Cave. After you beat the game, go to Whishcash Pond, and you'll learn about the evolution process, and head along the hold in the center of the pond. Your partner will tell you how to switch leaders, and tell you Pokemon to leave, which you can now evolve Pokemon that are needed. Next, talk to Medicham, whos hanging around the team base.

Visit Lombre to hear his side of the story, and head to Whishcash. He will give you the Hm Dive, which allows you access to Stormy Sea, and the Solar Cave area, where you can find other Hm's. Head to Solar Cave, and search every floor between 1-9 for at least 2 or 3 keys. Remember to bring a flying Pokemon with you. If you find some keys, head to dungeon floor 10.

Search the place for a locked corridor, and use a key. If you lost Dive, Dive should be there. If you didnt lose Dive, you get a Link Cable, which evolves Pokemon such as Machoke to Machamp. After you done, keep on the lookout for more keys until you reach room 15. Search there, and you'll see another locked corridor.

Unlock it, and the HM Waterfall should be there. Use your flying Pokemon to retrieve it ( or you be the flying pokemon). Now for the last part. Head to floor 20, and search around for not a corridor, but a HM surrounded by water. Use once again your flying Pokemon to obtain it. It will be Surf, which gains access to Fiery Field. (After a couple of days Spinda will appear).
