This is a good way to make money with out time traverling.

If you are trying to pay of your loan for tom nook fast then try a few of these.

Go alone the sea shore and get all the shells make sure your pokets are empy and also I shall put on the prices here they are

Sand Dollar: 60 Bells

Venus Comb: 150 Bells

Coral: 250 Bells

Dalls Top: 90 Bells

Porceletta: 30 Bells

The first time each day you sell a pocket full you should get 2000 to 3000 bells and also unlike fruit shells wil be washed up on the shore with in only about 3 hours or even 1 hour but if you are not in a rush you can collect them sell all the low price ones and keep all the hight priced ones for the next day.

Now onto fruit you don't have to do DS to DS or wi fi you can send letters to villigers with fruit in when or hopefully they shall send a letter back with non native fruit or just some type of t shirt then plant the fruit becareful not to step on them and just hope it grows.
