Question for Super Mario 64

Hey,

I was just in the "Mystery of the Monkey Cage" Level in Tall, Tall Mountain, and the first monkey stole my hat. I tried to steal it back but I fell of the mountain, and it was a game over. I went back to the level, without my hat, and to my surprise the monkey no longer was holding my hat. Is there anyway I can get it back?

Yes go talk to any toad in the castle and they will say they found it and give it back to you.

Thanks guys but those didn't work. I found out by myself though. It appeared on a snowman in the cool, cool mountain level.

Run a circle behind him and he will die, he will bring your hat again

Try getting a wing/invisible/metal cap. For some reason, when the effect of the cap wears off, it turns into a regular cap....I think.

I think it's really funny that it randomly appeared on one of the snowmen, but he lost it in Tall, Tall Mountain. Haha
