First PlayStation 5 details have been revealed, and more Gaming news

Wired gave us our first look at the next generation console from Sony, which isn't yet titled the PlayStation 5, but historically speaking, we can probably expect as much. All of the information was relayed by Mark Cerny, who was the lead system architect for the PS4 and will be doing the same for the upcoming console. Some of the interesting bullet points include full backwards compatibility with PS4 game, the console supporting up to 8k gaming, the CPU is based on AMD Ryzen and the custom GPU is based on AMD Radeon Navi which will support ray tracing. It will include an SSD with incredible load times up to 19 times faster and will also support PSVR. It's also been confirmed that the console will not be releasing this year.
