Fortnite's giant purple cube explosion sent players into an endless void, and more Gaming news

Fortnite's giant purple cube ended up exploding in a one time event on Sunday November 4th. Up until now, the ominous cube has been seen across the Fortnite map when it spawned midway through Season 5, but it finally culminated in an explosion that sent all players into a giant endless void where they could float in any direction. Upon interacting with one of the void butterflies, players were then teleported back onto the map right above Leaky Lake, which transformed once again with additional land.
