Microsoft unveils new games streaming service called Project xCloud, and more gaming news

At E3 2018, Phil Spencer mentioned that Microsoft is working on a streaming service which would allow console quality games streaming on any device. It wasn't followed by a trailer or a lengthy explanation, but rather a tease at what's to come. Today, Microsoft officially unveiled Project XCloud, a service to do just that, and it's already being tested on various phones and tablets. This will enable gamers to play AAA experiences like Forza Horizon 4 or Halo 5 on their smartphone, removing the barrier of needing to own an expensive console. A public beta is expected next year.
