Most Blizzard titles will be unplayable in China starting in January

Activision Blizzard has announced that several of its game franchises will be unplayable in China starting in January. These consist of World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, Warcraft III: Reforged, Overwatch 2, the StarCraft series, Diablo III, and Heroes of the Storm. All of these games will become unplayable starting on January 23, due to blizzard being unable to reach an agreement with Netease. Curiously, Diablo Immortal will remain playable in China as it is published under a separate agreement and will be unaffected. Additionally, new sales of the discontinued games will be suspended.
