Steam once again broke concurrent record on October 23

Steam has once again broken its concurrent record this past weekend on October 23, reaching over 30 million users. This was revealed by SteamDB, which reported thirty million thirty two thousand and five players were all online concurrently. The top five games played consisted of Counter-Strike, Dota 2, Lost Ark, Apex Legends and PUBG: Battlegrounds. Steam has been breaking records of concurrent players ever since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, with Thanksgiving 2021 reaching nearly 28 million. The availability of Steam Decks and its portability is also causing this number to rise.
