Solo developer creates eerily photo-realistic scene in Unreal Engine 5

An extremely impressive clip from a solo developer showcases the insanely realistic graphics of Unreal Engine 5. The three-minute clip showcases a train station that's based on the real-life Etchū-Daimon Station in Toyama, Japan. While the scene looks downright photo realistic, the lack of people and the sky instantly turning black clues in that it's in fact not real. Lorenzo Drago worked on all modeling, texturing, lighting and animation, and used Unreal's Lumen lighting system. While the three-minute clip doesn't feature any sort of gameplay, it does give fans a glimpse at the power Epic's engine.
