Naoki Yoshia lays out plans to deal with congestion in Final Fantasy 14

Final Fantasy 14's director Naoki Yoshida has laid out the team's plan to deal with server congestion. The popularity for the game continues to skyrocket, and thus Square needed to implement some extra measures to keep it running smoothly. Simultaneous login caps have been raised, thanks to data centers in North america being upgraded to higher performance models. There is also a new auto logout feature implemented as of the last patch as an emergency measure to combat congestion, that will automatically log any player out who has been idle for at least 30 minutes.
