Sea of Thieves can now run at 120fps on Series X

Players on the Xbox Series X can now experience Sea of Thieves at 120 frames per second if their TV supports it. One thing to note is that to achieve this framerate, the game then runs at 1080p instead of its native 4K. This update comes alongside the start of Season One for Sea of Theives, which will introduce a new season pass with 100 rewards for all players, as well as an optional Plunder pass that must be purchased, containing even more exclusive cosmetics to be earned. Players can also embark on an all new merchant alliance voyage to search for missing ships and their lost cargo.
