Ubisoft Massive working on open world Star Wars game

Ubisoft is working on an open world Star Wars game with Lucasfilm Games, after years of the franchise being exclusive to EA. The Division developer Massive will be taking on the project with Division 2 director Julian Gerighty helmed to direct. It will also utilize the Snowdrop engine which is currently being used in both Division games. As of right now, there are no details regarding the game's plot or timeline it will take place, or whether the game will be single or multiplayer. However, Lucasfilm said all Star Wars game would continue to be canon alongside the films, TV, books and comics.
