During the latest episode of Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb’s Xbox Podcast, Phil Spencer joined to talk a little more about Microsoft's acquisition of Bethesda. Spencer mentioned that final approval of the deal will come in 2021 and that Microsoft is “hands-off” with Bethesda as the deal hasn’t gone through yet. He also went on to say that he believes that Bethesda's teams are going to be very, very critical to Xbox's progress going forward, and is incredibly excited about starfield, which doesn't yet have a release date, as well as other games that have yet to be announced by the developer.
