Microsoft has stopped selling their 12-month Xbox Live Gold Subscription

Microsoft has officially stopped selling their 12 month Xbox Live Gold plans. In a statement to Trueachievements, Microsoft stated "At this time, Xbox has decided to remove the 12 months Xbox Live Gold SKU from the Microsoft online Store. Customers can still sign up for a one month or three month Xbox Live Gold subscription online through the Microsoft Store." While that doesn't answer why Microsoft removed that particular option, it is possible that Microsoft will be pushing their Xbox Game Pass ultimate subscription which will now come with project xcloud.
