How to get the Empire Building 101 Achievement/Trophy

To get the Empire Building 101 achievement/trophy you must successfully complete the first Narcos side-mission. The first thing you need to do is complete the first story mission of the DEA campaign in order to unlock the Narcos campaign. When you then launch the Narcos campaign you will have no option but to play the side mission which upon completion will give you the Building 101 achievement/trophy.

Easy Recruitment Drive Achievement/Trophy

To get the Recruitment Drive achievement/trophy you must hire at least 10 recruits to your squad. You can hire a recruit to your squad at any time by going to the 'Roster' tab of your home base and selecting either DEA or Narcos and if you have any slots available and also the funds you will be able to hire a new member to your squad by pressing the button and viewing the eligible recruits. More recruitment slots will become available the further you progress in Narcos: Rise of the Cartels which means you will probably get this achievement/trophy through natural progression.

The easiest way in which to get the Recruitment Drive achievement/trophy without getting low on cash is to wait until you have beaten one of the two campaigns as doing so will have earned you between $100,000-$200,000 which you can use on recruits. Simply spend your money on cheap recruits until you have unlocked the achievement/trophy which can sometimes mean having to recruit 20+ recruits. If you make a save before spending your money you can reload the game once you have obtained the Easy Recruitment Drive achievement/trophy and also keep your money.

How to Unlock Poison

Poison is a playable character in Narcos: Rise of the Cartels that can be unlocked in the Narcos campaign. He is a bloodthirsty sicario who enforces El Patron's 'money or lead' policy. In order to unlock him you must complete 'Vipers Nest', the 3rd mission of the Narcos campaign where you have to find three pieces of evidence that are scattered around the map and protected by enemies. One piece of evidence can be found in the center building, another to the back left and upstairs in another building and the third piece can be found to the far right in a small building. Once you have collected all three pieces of evidence Poison will become unlocked and you will also unlock the Sixty Six achievement/trophy.

How to Unlock Pena

Pena is a playable character in Narcos: Rise of the Cartels that can be unlocked in the DEA campaign. He is a DEA leader that comes equipped with a Remington 870 sawed off shotgun. In order to unlock him you must complete 'Day of the Dead', the 6th mission of the DEA campaign where you are tasked with killing El Mexicano. Once you have located this boss who usese a grenade launcher which takes a turn to load you will be able to easily take him down if you rush him with a shotgun when he is loading his weapon. Killing El Mexicano will also earn you the A New Partner achievement/trophy.

How to Unlock Carrillo

Carrillo is a playable character in Narcos: Rise of the Cartels that can be unlocked in the DEA campaign. He is a DEA leader that comes equipped with a SMG and pistol. In order to unlock him you have to complete 'Called to Account', the 4th DEA campaign where you are tasked in locating El Patron's accountant. Once you manage to locate him you must bring him to the extraction point which will involve protecting him from six waves of Narcos trying to gun him down. If the accountant dies while trying to do this you will fail the mission. If you are successuful you will also unlock the Incorruptible achievement/trophy.

How to get the Ammo Saving Achievement/Trophy

To get the Ammo Saving achievement/trophy you must kill two or more enemies in a single action (attack). The easiest way in which to get this achievement/trophy is to use either the shotgun or grenade launcher and wait until you see 2 or more enemies who are close together and low enough on health before you attack. If you decide to use the shotgun it is recommended that you run as close to your targets as possible to do additional damage.
