How to Unlock Alternate Costumes

Alternate costumes for the characters in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order can be unlocked by completing a specific challenge in the Infinity Trials. The following 'How to Unlock Alternate Costumes' page will tell you everything you need to know about getting these alternate costumes and how to change into them.

Unlocking Alternate Costumes

You will need to participate in the Infinity Trials in order to unlock an alternate costumes for your characters. The Infinity Trials can be accessed from the main menu or the 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' menu during a story chapter. Once you select the Infinity Trials you will be presented with character portraits, simply choose the one you want and then proceed to complete the trial. If you performed well enough in the trial to earn a star you will unlock an alternate costume for that hero.

Each trial in Infity Trials has a ranking system of up to three stars, each additional star you earn will grant you another alternate costume for your hero. Listed below are the characters that have alternate costumes and the requirement that needs to be met to unlock them.

Get 16 stars in the 1st Infinity Rift, Gamma

Captain Marvel

Get 32 stars in the 1st Infinity Rift, Gamma

Elektra

Get 48 stars in the 1st Infinity Rift, Gamma

Ms. Marvel

Get 17 stars in the 2nd Infinity Rift, Psi

Spider-Gwen

Changing into Alternate Costumes

To change into an alternate costume you have unlocked you need to either click on the 'Team' menu at the main menu or the 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' menu during a chapter in the campaign. From there you will be able to select which hero you are looking to change and click the X button. At this point you will be able to cycle through the alternate costumes you have unlocked and select the one you want.
