Lost Ark is a free-to-play 2.5D fantasy massively multiplayer online action role-playing game where you embark on an odyssey for the Lost Ark in a vast, vibrant world where you can explore new lands and seek out lost treasures. Lost Ark primarily focuses on PvE and exploration, this includes questing, crafting, and achievement/collectible hunting, it also features PvP elements.
Lost Ark Cheats, Tips Strategy
Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include why you should build up a Rapport with NPCs and why you will get better rewards when you reach level 50. As well as these hints and tips, we also have a beginners guide here which goes into more details on some of the tips we have below:
- Choose your Class Carefully
There are currently 15 different classes to choose from in Lost Ark with more on the way and each of them have different identities and styles. It is important that you pick the one that best suits your playstyle, and you will be happy with from the start because it is hard to switch up classes once you have gotten to a higher gear level (after gear level 600).
If you do decide to switch classes at a high level you will render all your gear useless, and you will have to grind up your way again to where you were with your previous class.

- Leveling Up
EXP in Lost Ark is required to level up your character, and you will earn it through quests. You will also get Roster EXP which provides benefits that are shared by your entire roster unlike character leveling that only makes the character you are leveling up stronger.
If you go to the Roster Account in your Menu you will be able to see all the perks and bonuses you can equip for your roster.

- Build Up Rapport with NPCs
Lost Ark has a Rapport system that allows you to build a relationship between you and certain NPCs in the game.
Rapport is gained by giving these NPCs gifts and completing their quests and as the relationship towards an NPC grows you will unlock more quests and get more rewards which includes stat increase potions, crafting materials, battle items, cards, secret maps, sail glyphs, engraving recipe pouches, Island Tokens, Entrance Tickets, Providence Stones and various types of coins.
- Island Chest Rewards
In Lost Ark islands will occasionally spawn on the map, and they are a good source to get good loot and chests early on in the game. Keep in mind that some of these islands are PvP, so you will not be alone so make sure you check what type of island it is before you play.
Once you complete an island you can move on to the next island. It is important to remember that the chest you find on the island is roster bound which means you need to play the island with the character who you know who needs the resources most, so they get them once the chest has been opened.
- Get Power Upgrades with Engravings
Engravings in Lost Ark are power upgrades for your character that are divided into three separate categories: damage boosts, utility buffs, and specific Class Engravings that change the playstyle of your character completely.
Regular Engravings can be used by any class in the game, whereas class-specific Engravings are tied to one class. Engravings are activated when you have enough points by wearing certain accessories or through Ability Stones, both of which can be collected, looted, and purchased.
Learned Engravings or 'Imprints' are unlocked by books which can be found littered throughout the world of Arkesia in Dungeons, Raids, and Islands. 20 books for the same Engraving are required to unlock and activate a Learned Engraving. Make sure you do not waste your Engravings on upgrades you will not need.
- Unlock Chaos Dungeons and Guardian Raids for Better Rewards
Once you reach level 50 in Lost Ark you will unlock Chaos Dungeons and Guardian Raids which can be tackled twice daily and will enable you to unlock additional rewards that will allow you to level up and strengthen your character much faster.
In Chaos Dungeons you will be able to get gear and upgrade materials. Guardian Raids will enable you to get valuable upgrade materials, jewelry with randomly-rolled Engravings, and a chance of obtaining some other goodies.
