Lineage II: The Chaotic Throne- The Kamael is one of the greatest MMORPG's ever. The game is not very well known, which is quite surprising. This latest version features a new race, the Kamael. These are creatures that have one wing, which looks very cool. Lineage II: The Chaotic Throne- The Kamael does not have an actual plot. There is no real storyline at all. However, that doesn't make the game bad at all. In fact, the freedom to do whatever you want has quite the opposite effect. Fighting monsters, going on quests, or just mingling with others are just some of the great features of Lineage II.
Most PC MMORPG's have astounding graphics, but Lineage II has some of the best. All things in the game, from humans, elves, the Kamael, to the various weapons, even the environment, look completely realistic. All enemies in the game have enhanced details, especially the monsters that take up the whole screen. Multiple weapons can glow, making other players staring with awe. All special effects of this game are something to talk about, even basic stuff like healing or teleporting. The graphics are unparalleled.
The game features different background music in every area. The music is wonderfully coordinated and well-developed. Monsters growl at you, warning you away. Some character actions cause your player to momentarily speak, giving a feel for the personality of each race. As for the background music, a lot of it will get stuck in your head. This can get quite annoying, but the music itself is amazing.
Lineage II is very easy to understand. Moving and interactions are just caused by a click of the mouse. Spells and various items can be assigned to sub-slots, allowing for easy access during battle. Players can also interact with each other. They can trade items or hold a friendly duel. Those that get along well can form clans and invite others to join, allowing for clan wars to occur, bringing a whole new experience to the game. There is a lot that you can do, so you do not get bored too easily.
This is a tricky category to rate. Because there is no storyline, Lineage II is technically an endless game, which would give a high score. However, some players may think that if there is no purpose to the game, then there is no point in playing. I don't think many players would think this way, as Lineage II is fun without some long adventure. Storylines limit a game's replay value. The main thing to do in Lineage is to compete with other players around the world so that you can say you are the best.
Lineage II: The Chaotic Throne- The Kamael is the best game for the PC. It has all the qualities of a good game, with good graphics as a helper. The world of Lineage II is vast. No MMORPG compares with Lineage II by a long shot. The fact that it is endless is terrific, along with the multiple ways to interact with other players. Striving to be the top player always allows for frinedly competition. With all the quests, items, and special events, Lineage II is sure to keep any gamer wanting more, hence, the 10 out of 10 score.
