Take Your Time
You will have more success solving the puzzles if you take your time and use a few hints (which replenish over time) instead of rushing and getting frustrated when you can't find the solutions. Although your score is based on how long it takes you to finish the puzzle you can repeat it as many times as you like providing you have the required energy. Remember that hints give you one of the answers so if you don't want things spoiled you need to refrain from tapping the lightbulb icon.
In each scene of June's Journey you can earn up to five stars, and each star requires more points than the previous one. When you earn stars you will go through chapters and move on the plot. Each new star of ranking you earn will fill up the scene with more objects. Pay attention to new items that appear on the object list that were not there before as there is a good chance they will be a new clue.
Most of the reward boxes awaiting you at the manor when you complete scenes will contain energy as well as coins. You should therefore not open them when your energy is full, or you intend on taking a break but instead save them for when you plan on playing for a long stretch of time and will need to replenish.
Whenever there is an object listed that does not fit into the current scene and doesn't make any kind of logical sense there is a good chance that you will find it hidden somewhere in the decor. Pay close attention in particular to elaborately decorated door knobs, statues, and lamps as these are likely places where you will find what you are looking for. If you come across something strange that doesn't appear in the object list make a note of it as there is a good chance it will appear later in the game.
Save your energy for contests only, energy replenishment is fast in the game and boxes replenish your energy frequently. You can conserve energy by not solving portrait puzzles until just before a competition. Energy from the game is limited to 110. However, you can top off using portrait puzzles which are an additional 110 and energy boxes which are another 110 energy. So if you are doing a 30 minute competition, the energy is 300-500, a 40 minute competition 400-600 and a 50 minute competition is 500-700. So you'll need those many energy in boxes or unfinished portrait puzzles to top off to that level
Diamonds are the most treasured item in June's Journey. It is the only way to shorten processes and buy new items. You can save on diamonds by not wasting them on bad purchases such as coins or energy. Only worthwhile to reimburse diamonds to speed up item reimbursements and advance you in the game via flower badges.
