I. GETTING STARTED

A. What is We Farm?
===================
We Farm is a social farming game by ngmoco and New Toy. In it, you create and
manage a virtual farm. This means planting crops, tending to animals, and
planting plenty of decorations.

Download We Farm from the iTunes App Store by simply searching for it, or by
downloading it from the link below:

Once you've downloaded We Farm, you need to log in to a Plus+ account. Plus+ is
a social gaming network (similar to Xbox Live) created by ngmoco. If you
already have an account, log in. If not, create an account and you can begin.

C. The tutorial
===============
Tap to enter your farm (it's on the left), and your tutorial will begin. Pay
attention to the tutorial -- this knowledge will be useful for the rest of the
game.
Objective: Build a Garden
-------------------------
Welcome to your farm! It's rather sparse right now, but in a few minutes, it'll
be beautiful. I promise.
Tap the Build icon at the bottom-right of the screen (it's a shovel). There's
one thing that you can buy right now, and it's a Garden. Go buy one!
After you purchase something in the store, you'll be able to drag it around
your farm. When you've found a good spot for it, press the green check mark. If
you don't like it, don't worry -- we can move it later.
Completing this goal will give you 10 gold and 50 XP (plus 15 for building the
garden).
Objective: Plant and Harvest
----------------------------
Tap on your newly-made garden. You can choose a crop for the garden. Because
you're only at level 1, you can only choose corn. It'll plant in your garden.
After 45 seconds, you'll be able to harvest the corn by clicking on it.
You'll get 25 gold and 50 XP for completing this (plus the bit from the corn).
You may level up, as well!
Objective: Plant Daisies
------------------------
Go back into the Build menu and find the green tab with the tree on it. In that
menu, go buy and plant some Daisies somewhere on your farm.
For that simple task, you gain 300 gold and 50 XP!
Objective: Build a Coop & Gro
-----------------------------
Go back into the Build menu. This time, you want to build a Coop. Find a nice
spot for it and place it.
Now we're going to use Gro, which allows you to finish the construction of an
object instantly. You have to pay real money for more Gro, though, so use it
wisely! Tap on the under-construction Coop and click "Use Gro".
You'll receive 25 gold and 50 XP for that.
Objective: Raise Chicken & Pet
------------------------------
Click on the Coop and it'll bring up a menu to choose an animal. The only one
you can choose is a chicken, so choose that.
After the progress bar completes, click on the little heart to pet your chicken.
You'll get 100 gold and 75 XP for your efforts.
Objective: Send to the Fair!
----------------------------
Your chicken will take an hour to mature. You can speed it up with Gro (I
wouldn't waste it, though). If you have nothing better to do, you can farm and
get gold and XP. You can also pet the chicken when the icon appears.
After an hour, click on the Coop and you'll send the Chickens to the fair and
complete this goal.
You'll get 750 gold and 110 XP.
Objective: Extend your property
-------------------------------
You can expand your farm's reach "by 32%!" with 750 gold. If you don't have the
money, plant crops in the garden and work your way up to 750 coins.
Open up the Build menu and click the gray tab on the far right. The first
option, the Farm Cottage, will expand your land. Buy it to complete this goal.
You'll get 300 gold and 120 XP for that!
Objective: Neighbors
--------------------
This next goal will take you to the Social Map, where you'll be able to see the
farms of your Plus+ friends. If you don't have any, invite some or look for
numerous "Add me!" threads on forums. If you already have friends on the Social
Map without doing anything, just return back to your farm.
Once you have one or more Plus+ friends on the Social Map, you'll get 300 gold
and 200 XP after returning to your farm.
Objective: Help a Friend
------------------------
Find a friend with an "Open" sign above their farm on the social map. Find a
business of theirs that has the same sign, and order something from them.
When you return to your farm, you'll get 500 gold and 350 XP.
And that's the whole tutorial! You're done.

Farming is a good way to make money and gain XP. You have a variety of crops to
choose from, with varying harvest times and profits to be made.

Here are some general tips for making farming awesome:
* Always maximize the number of farms that you have.
* If you're playing actively, Corn is best (I believe).
* Try to have something growing at all times.

A. What is Gro?
===============
Gro is a magical liquid that speeds things up. Construction, business orders,
and crop-growing can take hours. If you use Gro, it can be completed in
seconds.

B. How do you get Gro?
======================
You can get Gro in one of three ways:
1. Buying it from the Gro Store (see section below) using real money.
2. Get it when you level up.
3. Get it from downloading "special offers" applications, which will be
advertised on login. These apps are usually free, so if you'd like some Gro,
this is a great way to get it.

C. Buying Gro
=============
If you want to spend your real-life money on Gro, go for it. In general, the
best value is the higher amounts of Gro, though you may not want that much.
I've never spent a dime on Gro, so don't feel like you have to. I don't often
use Gro, so there's no need for me to buy it.
Here a chart showing the cost of Gro, the amount you get, and the cost per Gro,
in US Dollars:

It's a SLIGHTLY better deal to buy the cheaper of the two jugs for $29.99. The
difference is about $0.0000167. Probably not a big enough difference to matter.
We see that the best deals are on the more expensive containers.
Once again, don't feel that you have to pay for it to do well in the game -- I
seldom USE Gro, let alone buy it.

There are a bunch of Awards that you can get in We Farm. You can see them by
going to the Plus+ menu at the top-right. Each award gives your Plus+ profile
more points, but that's all it does.
* Farmstead - 15 points
Upgrade your farm house and expand your farm - Level 2.
* Estate - 25 points
Upgrade your farm house and expand your farm - Level 3.
* Ranch - 35 points
Upgrade your farm house and expand your farm - Level 4.
* Neighbor - 15 points
Create a connection with 1 of your friends.
* Mayor - 25 points
Create a connection with 5 of your friends.
* County Commissioner - 35 points
Create a connection with 10 of your friends.
* Gardener - 15 points
Build a Garden, a Coop, and a Pen. If you complete the tutorial,
* Rancher - 25 points
Build a Pasture, a Toolshed, and a Well.
* Agriculturalist - 35 points
Build a Fruit Stand, a Grain Silo, and a Vet's Office.
* Tycoon - 50 points
Build a Sprayer, a Hay Baler, and a Tractor.

Place 5 decorative items.

Place 20 decorative items.
