Keep an eye out for opportunites to use the tile to your advantage. When a ball is on the tile you will be able to change it's route and get closer to the goal, they can also save you some moves which will help you get the three star rating.

Take your time and don't worry about speed unless you have a clear idea of your goal. When you have the correct route set up where it connects to the goal the ball will speed up automatically. There is a manual speed button but you will not need to use that often as the ball will be travelling fast enough anyway.

Use the pause button to your advantage, when the game is paused you will not be able to see the board but you will have a mental image in your head where certain pieces are. Plan your route using this information before returning to the game and placing the pieces where you think they should go.

When you play a stage that places the ball on a lower area of the board and the goal is in a higher section you need to focus on the curved and vertical pieces to get the ball there. Once you have the ball as high as possible use straight verticle pieces to align it with the goal.

When you only get one or two stars on a stage out of the possible three you can always go back and replay the stage to try and get three stars. This time though you will have the advantage of setting up your route quicker and doing it in less moves.

Don't be afraid of restarting each stage as this is one of those games where practice makes perfect and you won't be penalised for doing it.

Use the 5 second head start you are given before each stage to your advantage. Use this time to pre-plan your route and put the pieces in place.
