Whenever you see a cluster of wheels on the ground try and drive through them as they will give you another burst of speed which will help you get away from any nearby enemies.

Take advantage whenever possible of jumping off the top of buildings as grinding of the architecture will earn you a speed boost when you land.

Although you can grap magnets from the store you must remember that once they are gone they are not replaced. You will find it more beneficial to resist the temptation of buying them early and waiting until you have got good at the game and have decent upgrades.

You can improve your weapons so they are more powerful or make an existing upgrade last for longer by going to the weapons section of the store and spending your coins on what you desire.

To apply a vehicle upgrade you need to go to the lab and hit the vehicle icon. There you will be able to see what impact each upgrade has by tapping on it and then viewing the car stats at the top of the screen.

In the early stages of the game you will be able to boost your coin stash by completing the missions you are given. You can then use the coins you earn to apply uprgrades.

You are given the option of either buying a coin magnet or weapon upgrade with your coins when you start a run so make sure you have a few in the bank before deciding which one of the two you want (you can only select one).

Regardless of whether the enemy is chasing you or in front of you your weapons will automatically aim towards the nearest opponent. All you need to do is focus on firing when they are in range.

Leap into the air when you are being chased and fired upon by the enemy and each time you crest a hill you will pick up a roaring speed boost when you land which will help you escape.

Tap the 'Jump' button when you pass through the spinning white symbols so that you flip up and into the sky. The spinning white symbols tend to be linked together so be prepared to make another tap almost immediately.
