Don't be afraid to take advantage of the built in hint system to help find 'Leads' that are not immediately obvious.

When interacting with objects you have to use real world logic. For example, doors have to be opened by turning handles, lights have to be switched on, and to remove screws you need to turn the screwdriver counterclockwise.

There will be times you will find yourself struggling to select an object, when this happens try tapping in an immediately adjacent area to it.

If you get stuck you may need to backtrack to a previous area and see if something you have collected recently will open a new path.

Don't be afraid to explore the scene, even if an item is not evidence-related you will often get information about it. Doing this will not make you fail or die.
