Tanks vs. Aliens Cheats and Tips

To make your tank move to the location of your choice you have to tap and hold, however when you do this there will be times that you will cover part of the screen which will prevent you from seeing incoming attacks. To help avoid this from happening constantly move your finger around to keep the tank moving all the time. The best place to perform this is at the bottom of the screen as the alien ships usually only appear from the top and sides of the screen. When you do this though you must be careful not to tap the ad which is also at the bottom of the screen as activating it will obscure your screen and cost you a life. To prevent tapping twice and activating the advert keep your finger on the screen.

Use gold to upgrade tbe Steering Power of your starting tank, the Angelfire. Do not buy additional upgrades for this tank as the temporary ammo and rocket power-ups collected during gameplay will be sufficient for you to progress.

Once you have upgraded your tank save your remaining Gold to purchase the Ironfist tank. Do not purchase it however until you get a bonus coupon for it.

Use the power-ups you buy at the start of a level wisely as they are consumed when used. The Magnet power-up is helpful if you have a slow tank, the Doubler power-up will help increase your money total and the Golden Ammo power-up can be particularly useful when you are facing a challenging boss as it allows you extra ammo.

The Airstrike attack is useful when you need to clear alien clutter from the level, it is best used however when you face Bosses as it is a powerful attack that does plenty of damage.
