Time

Although there are consequences if the game thinks you are messing about with it you can speed things up by setting the time ahead on your device. You will though be punished by having one of your bitizens jettisoned out the airlock if the game thinks you have tried to trick it. The best way to help avoid this is to not start any new builds when the clock is moved forward otherwise that products build times will be in negative time since their creation date is still in the future.

Visitors

Whenever a store is crafting a product or a level is being built you can shave a minute off the build time by bringing a visitor to that level.

Balance

A good strategy is to not build too many of one kind of business but to try and keep a balance between food, retail, service and recreation because too many of any kind of business makes buyers appear less frequently.

Bux

Try to resist the temptation of converting Bux to coins to help speed along level creation as you will find yourself without coins very quickly and it will make you more likely to spend real-world money on the In-App purchases to get back on track again.

Discount

Try to keep your residents working on the floors they are best suited for as this will give you a much bigger discount on the cost of stocking the commercial units they work in.

Elevator

It is very important that you upgrade your elevator whenever possible as the more visitors that you are able to ferry around the Death Star the more money you will be able to earn.

Empty Block

A good tactic is to always leave one block empty just in case the perfect tenant appears looking for a new home.

Tenants

Whenever you have useless tenants it is better to evict them even though you will lose some earnings while you wait for the replacement to arrive. Keeping useless tenants will cost you money in the long run.

Profits

It is important that you keep the best people for the job in each store as this will help you to maximize profits.
