How do you use the brains in the game

I have them but don't understand how to use them in the game

I hope I can explain this clearly. I figured it out myself recently. I have three brains available. I found out that if you use Cooks they will borrow two brains. You are left with one brain which usually you can use for a stonecutter or Woodcutter. Think of it like using the brains to rent your zombies. After certain time those brains are freed up and you can use them again for other things. You can get an extra brain in the cinema which will allow you to use another zombie to do your work. I know that was confusing, I'm sorry, I'm hoping some of that made sense.

acctualy I really want to use brains but when I want that my cookers-or someone else work they do not work
