What happens when your pets run out of happiness?

I have a kitten and puppy and when I click on them is shows their 'Happiness'. Right now their 'Happiness' is low and I don't know what will happen if it runs completely out of 'Happiness'. Please help me.

Kitten and puppy happiness meters go to the bottom of the happy spectrum, but their behaviors don't seem to be otherwise affected and their mood doesn't seem to go down any further.

I finally figured out that just picking them up and putting them back down will restore their happiness to about 50%. Doing it twice restores them completely.

I haven't found any other Activities to affect their happiness.

I pulled this up because I thought they run away, I was just redownloading it after years and I noticed my dog wasn't there. Did he run away? I havent had any contact for years so I think he ran away 😭

I don’t believe they do run away, but i’d recommend you look into it as it is possible that it did. I’ve never heard anything about them running away so you may need to search somewhere else.
