How do I get my sims to stop being enemies or nemeses and start being friends

I have great news because I just tried and found out how it's done. Keep being nice and it will seem like the Nemesis is growing but then you will return to enemy , continue being nice until the enemy Bar is complete and as you do that you will return to normal friendship and all that.
