My baby is floating and I can't move it

I've been dealing with the the same problem! I literally just fixed it! I saw your question when I was looking for help and thought of it when right away. Basically, the mom picked up the baby and it glitched, which made the baby float in the air. The mom could leave the house and not have the baby anymore, but she couldn't interact with people and when I clicked on the baby, it would bring to the mom instead. So, what I did was send the baby to a different house (the mom automatically came with), then I sent the mom home and left the baby there (floating). I then left the house and came back to it a second later. The baby was on the floor. I sent the baby home, put the crib down in a room, brought a different Adult to the house, and made it pick the baby up. At first, it went to the mom when I clicked on it the first time, but I went back and clicked it again and I had the option to pick the baby up. The guy walked over to the baby, but wouldn't pick it up even though the Bar above their heads said he was. I left them like that and when to a different house. Then I clicked the sim tracker to find that it was flashing (meaning the action was complete). I went back to the house and voila! The baby was in the crib! I went over to the baby and had the guy pick it up and do something with it. They're no longer connected!! I really hope this helps!!

Omg I can’t call my baby anywhere and when I try and get the mom to come to it it just switches to her I need help I don’t want my baby to die

Just relocate the household which the baby belongs to the empty house (if you have it). It will make the floating baby crawling on new house’s floor. You can re-relocate back if you want the previous house as baby’s home.

When your baby is floating, go to another Sims house and call the baby there by using the whistle, then bring it home and it will be sitting down!

This happened to my baby she was floating and know one could pick her up. But I found a solution, what I did what I want to another of my Sims house and used the whistle to call the baby over the made her leave.
