Vanity Unit not working since Sonicare Update

Vanity Unit not working since Sonicare Update

I have several 'Dove' vanity units in bathrooms which were given free a year or two ago. Since the new Phillips Sonicare units arrived this week, I have found that the Dove units are not only now inactive, but can't even be removed from my bathrooms by putting in the inventory. I'm now stuck with several bathrooms clogged with two vanity units. Anyone else got this problem and managed to rectify it?

I am having the same issue but with the white bathroom vanity it has also been removed from the store. I was able to put a couple in storage and then that stopped working but my Simms could still use the vanitiesbut as of today the vanities are useless pieces of art. Don't know what to do. I did pay for all the white bathroom vanities though.

I placed the original question. The only way I have been able to get round the inactive and immovable dove units, is to place everything in the bathroom in my inventory...apart from the Dove vanity unit, which of course refuses to be moved. I've then had to completely remove the bathroom (the whole built room) from the house, which takes away the unit, and rebuild the bathroom from scratch again. Long winded, expensive and annoying. If I remember rightly there were some baths and showers in this Dove offer...I just hope these don't go the same way. I'm replacing everything 'free' bathroom wise now....including the Sonicare stuff, just in case there's a repeat of this later down the line.

Not sure if you've found the answer to your problem but you have to click on the front of the vanity not the sink itself.
