You can see what a 3 star rated bed looks like if you click on the store/shopping button when you are logged into the Sims game, you would click on the bedroom inventory, and then scroll over until you see a bed with 3 blue stars next to it. The cheapest 3 star rated bed is $3grand. And there are 2 of the $3,000 beds
