When a Sim visits another Sim Town, they can become "Partners". Can A Sim become married to another Sim in another town?

I know I want to find out because one of my Sims is loving up another from another town. I think you can. It would be cool if you could and they move in with you from another town.

I don't think you can because then they would have leave the other town which would basically delete a sim from the other town.

No you cannot have your sim and another persons sim married. There are reasons- Who would pay for what? - What would happen if the other person didn't want there sim to get married and - Who would move where?

I don't think you can either, because my partner barns full, and it does not give you the option to propose. I really wish you could though.
