Why does it take two times for me to log into the game?
Every time I try to log into the game the first time it says I need to retry than however the second time comes around and it lets me through. Its slightly annoying!

I had exactly the same problem at first so to speed it up I made sure that all my windows/tabs that I no longer needed were closed/deleted, I deleted all the apps which I never used and deleted some silly photos to clear space because if more space is avalible, it Updates and loads everything quicker so it won't have to cram all the data In a small amount of data space.
Also if you want to, you can sell or remove un needed Items in your Springfield to stop your device taking up time to download them.

I've got the same problem, but it started after trying to install a new modem at home. Haven't found the solution yet, but it must be due to the iPad or Origin retaining the last modem connection (even though everything else connects fine, first time).
