I've already got the ray gun from last Halloween after getting Kang how do you get kodos this time can anyone help please

If you already have the Ray Gun from last Halloween just make sure it is placed in your town and when you reach that point in the new quest line it will automagically unlock the quest for the new alien.

You do NOT have to purchase another Raygun - in fact I don't think the game would let you?
