How do you get other animals besides guinea pigs, hamsters and b

I have the free version and I know that you can buy the other animals for money but is there a way to unlock them for free?

No there is no other way. Some day that it takes about 60+ game days, but I am on 96 game days and still don't have the animals.

Ya there should be a way to get animals for free because you have to dismiss people if they want to adopt a dog,cat or all the other animals that they may want. It's not fair
