When/ how do I unlock dogs and/or cats

You have to unlock certain goals before you can get dogs, cats and other pets. The professer will tell you to go home and the next day(when you come back) He will tell you all of your new arrivals or if you do not have any. When I dirst started this game I was not sure either but as you progress on through the game, you will recieve more animals daily.
Please I know the answer:
Go to home
Look at top right corner
Click on the money sign
There will be arrows on the left side of the box
It has:
Dogs for £ 1.99
Cats for £ 1.99
Horses for 99p

When you are at the home page of the game it will show you
I'm on day 20 and still only have rabbits, hamsters and guinea pigs
What the hell how do you get different animals
I am on level 52 and I still do not have any other animals!
You can only get other animals if you either pay for the full version ($9.99) or pay for the in-app
Is there no way that we can get different animals without paying?
If you complete the goals and collect the coins/rewards, you can use the coins to buy the different animals in the shop
I saved up my coins and got sheep and foxes for 100 coins each
I’m only level 200 and only have guinea pigs, hamsters and rabbits
