I built a tower and then walked away and now cannot find it

Well, Me too.I'm the Geek-kiwi.Part of the Kiwi Organitzation.Yeah!I lost my castle.
I wanted to build a Spinx so I leaf home n find L´e desert .When I went back ta hom,Ma hom gone!Here's some tips.
1.Make sure you haz a compass.)*%%$#Can I haz a cup quake!
2.Mark your way.(With torches ect

3.Use your surroundings to mark.(That's Ninjakiwi's technique)$(:$#:Cup quakes!?
4.On creative mode,Use stone pillars.(The Sea)##&&Cup quake pillaz!!

Unfortunately, there is no way to get back to your tower, unless you have a compass. In that case, follow the direction it points to and it should lead you back. Otherwise you'll have to die and respawn back.

I'm in the same situation. I built a big Netherrack Castle in Pocket Edition and I cannot find it now! Fortunately, I remember it was in a snowy biome, which started near a village in a swampland biome. In fact, I used the Nether Reactor, then destroyed the core before the gold blocks had turned into Glowing Obsidian. This way, no zombie pigmen were created and neither were materials. The Castle didn't blow up either. The Compasss was useless, and by flying around I found and Ice Spikes Biome, and lost it by dying. Yes, it is possible to have a Nether Reactor in the Creative Mode and activate it. Just build the Reactor in Creative, change the world settings to Survival, activate the reactor, go back to the Creative, but fast, destroy the Nether Reactor Core and you're done. I did that multiple times. It's quite hard to decorate the Castle, and I had almost finished doing that. I died back in Survival, and got back to the Spawn Point. I don't know what to do...
