How do you get a world back in minecraft?

Once you delete a world, it is deleted forever. You can't get it back. You will have to remake the world. Use the same seed you used last time and it should come up with the same world but without your alterations.

Minecraft backs up to the iCloud. I restored my entire iPad from the iCloud and used the backup from a couple days ago. The MInecraft world was restored!! My 8 year old son was devastated after building it for 7 months, then accidentally deleting it. I am a hero in our household right now. Go to your settings, click on iCloud, click manage storage, click the iPad listed there, it will list all the apps that backup to the iCloud. Make sure Minecraft is turned on. Mine was, and I never intentionally set it that way, so yours may be automatically on as well. Once that is confirmed, go to the "reset" section of your settings, and select the one that says erase all content and settings. It will ask you several times, say yes. Once it is wiped clean, it will ask if you want to restore from iTunes or ICloud backup. Select ICloud. It will first restore the settings, then will ask for your passwords. Once that begins it will take a little time to restore everything. Your Minecraft world should be there again. Then you can dance around your house like the Rock Star superhero you are for saving an imaginary world. Good luck!!

please somebody help, is there any way to get back a world when it's on a Nook Tablet as opposed to an iPad?

I don't think there is an "official" way to do it, but there are some file restoration apps, (some may be root-only). Alternatively you can try a pc file restore program, the likely hood to recover it depends, if you installed and did lots of stuff writing to sd or internal storage less likely to recover, if did no or very few alterations to the sd card or internal storage it has a higher recovery rate.

Well, what you could do if you play PE (I like it on the computer) you could go to a store where you got your phone or tablet, then have then access your files find the worlds files and copy them in to your minecraft single player worlds. I know you can copy and paste on Apple phones but I don't about androids. You might only wanna do this if you are crazy about that world.

Try putting the same seed in a new world and a same world name maybe it will pop up again I'm trying it now I'm sure it will work

Yeah Sorry but I can't give you any other answer either. Once a world is gone, it's gone. This has happened to me many, many times and I wish Mojang improved there settings for deleting stuff, maybe a passcode so it isn't done on accident.

Get mcpe world manager and get all deleted worlds back and even back it up so you won't loose it ever again

Might be a little helpful but....
Some devices (like my android tablet) keep the minecraft files even after I delete Minecraft. So you could check your documents. Also, other some devices have a recycle bin so you can check that too. But if none of those work,, just remember next time you have minecraft to save the document/file version of your world to a USB, google drive,etc.
