How do I sell a player on the old version of Dream League Soccer?

Unfortunately, DLS games don't have that feature anymore.
You can only “Release Player” in the bottom right of the Transfers screen and select the player you wish to let go.
You will only be able to get a coach in return for releasing a player.
The coach will be at the same level as the player you released.
