Open the Bakery Story app and click the Design button in the bottom right-hand corner. Go to the tab with the item you had in storage, and scroll (if needed) to it. There should be a small orange strip with the number of that item you have in storage on the item. Tap the item and you can then place it anywhere in your bakery for no cost at all.
